Mold Engineer

Job Responsibilities

1. Determine the technology and process through communication with customers and participation in discussion meetings;

2. Develop mold development plans, confirm the mold structure, quality, and standards;

3. Follow up on scheduling and manufacturing of molds, and provide technical support for this;

4. Independently complete trial molding, inspection, and mold delivery work;

5. Record and solve problems that occur during the experimental process;

6. Participate in quality control, cost control, and technical guidance during mold production processes;

7. Collaborate with procurement department staff to complete mold cost accounting;

8. Coordinate with relevant personnel and manufacturers to confirm the quality, cost, and other issues of processed products;

9. Work with the product department head to monitor the quality standards of mold production;

10. Responsible for writing mold project reports;

11. Responsible for accepting, establishing, and maintaining the mold database for new models.

Requirements

1. Full-time college degree or above, majoring in materials, modeling, or related fields is preferred;

2. 3-5 years of working experience in a home appliance mold engineer position.
